SOSUA BEACH ON VIDEO:
Several diving, snorkeling and tour operators are located at the entrance of the beach by the parking area, where visitors can book all the water sports. Gift shops and art stores offer local art of fine quality, both oil on canvas and sculptures. Sports fishing charters depart from the beach every morning, and return with prized catch such as Marlin, Tuna, Mahi and Wahoo.
Back in the 1903, Sosua bay was a shipping dock for a large-scale fruit plantation operation, later closed in 1916. It was not until 1939 that the land was sold to Jewish settlers that fled from Europe to avoid Hitler`s concentration camps.
