Among the drinks we found the most interesting are Jose Cuervo, 18 year old Chivas, Patron, Malibu, Grand Marnier, Baileys, Amaretto, Jack Daniels, and some Brugal and Barcelo varieties. The cocktail list is a classic for any beach bar: Cuba Libre, Santo Libre, Daiquiri, Margarita, Gin tonic, Tequila sunrise, pina colada, mojito, Bloody mary, B52, Triple X, White Russian, Black Russian, and so many others.

Frank and Annie deserve credit for keeping quality consistently over the years, also the staff, one of the most friendly in the beach. As with many beach restaurants, they specialize in seafood, and having a red snapper with sautéed veggies and the amazing beach views…it is simply awesome. Have sex on the beach while waiting for the food, it`s great. We mean the Vodka-based cocktail, of course. We`ll list here some items in the menu to bring you a quick overview of what Mofongo King has to offer:

The Fish Selection

Among the fish selection we have the grilled sea bass fillet, also the menier version, the mushroom sauce version, creole fish filet, breaded fish filet, fried fish, fried fish fingers, grilled, fish, and Red Snapper. Of course, they might not list all the fish but we know there`s a chance to get Mahi Mahi, wahoo and other known species available in most Sosua Beach restaurants. A quick eco friendly note: never ask or buy Parrotfish in DR, it is banned until the year 2020.

The Soups

Mofongo King`s menu is extensive, prices are standard ( average US$10 for a pork filet kebab or schnitzel, shown as breaded pork filet in the menu ). The beach restaurant also serves a variety of soups, such as vegetable soup, fish soup, mixed seafood soup and chicken.

The Salads

In the salad department there`s garden salad ( shown as mixed in the menu), Shrimp cocktail, seafood salad, Caesar`s, and vegetables.

Mofongo King is also known for its pastas, and the selection speaks for itself: Bolognese, Carbonara, Pasta with shrimp, Marinara, Alfredo, and pasta with garlic.

Beef Dishes

A quick view at the menu we found these beef dishes: beefsteak ( mushroom sauce and bacon ), grilled beefsteak, house steak creole, pepper steak, garlic butter steak, and beef fillet kebab.
