The cove at Sosua is a crescent of golden sand bordered by greenery and low cliffs. The turquoise water is shallow and clear near the shore, making it ideal for families and beginner snorkelers.
A green zone sits in the centre of the beach, with two hotels on the right side. The left and central stretches are lined with casitas where vendors sell crafts, paintings, drinks and seafood.
We went here last winter and it was exactly like you describe. The water really is that clear!
Great little guide, thanks for putting this together.
Does anyone know if the casitas are open year round? Planning a trip in October.
The hair braiding ladies are lovely, just agree the price first like you said.
Loved the seafood at the beach bars. Bookmarking this site!
